2 Peter 1.2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.
The more knowledge that you have of of Jesus Christ, the greater understanding you will have that our God is gracious. Peter has learned after all these years of following Jesus that grace and peace is multiplied to. The believer through the knowledge of Jesus. But this knowledge is not intellectual. It is the revelatory, transformational knowledge of God in your heart. When the grace of God truly takes hold of your heart through the the illuminating work of The Holy Spirit, you will have peace. Thus, both grace and peace are multiplied in our lives through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. The more you get acquainted with Jesus, the more your life will be filled with His grace and peace.
Beloved, eternal life is relational. It is the personal and intimate knowledge of The Lord Jesus Christ. (John 17.3) It is the gift of God. It is worth noting that the Holy Spirit always places the word grace before the word peace in Scripture. Why? Because a person will never experience the peace of God until they have experienced the saving grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. Have you received Christ my friend?
