Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Colossians 3:23-24 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
In Jesus Christ, we have been given a complete redemption. Jesus didn’t die on the cross and rise from the dead to redeem halfhearted or part-time followers. Whatsoever we do is to be done heartily, or wholeheartedly as unto The Lord. Whatsoever we do is to be done with thanksgiving and with the full assurance of future reward. In other words, everything that we do in our lives is to be done for the glory of Jesus Christ. There is no such thing as a secular and sacred Christian life. Everything in our life is to be done for The Lord and bring Him glory.
Beloved, we have been redeemed to serve The Lord Jesus Christ. Bear that in mind as you go about your business today. That mindset turns everything that is mundane into an opportunity to worship The Lord and put your testimony of Him on display for all the world to see. Selah
