Because we live in a fallen world, everyone is in a trial, coming out of a trial, or about to go into another season of adversity. Peter tells us that God uses these trials to accompish four things in the life of a Christian: Trials perfect us; they help to establish us; by exercising our faith they strengthen us, and they help to settle us on a firm foundation. Please open your Bible to First Peter chapter five, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola completes his discussion of verses eight through fourteen.
