Humility, unlike pride, is not self willed. Jesus gave us many examples of humility. Perhaps His most powerful example came in the Garden of Gethsemane when He prayed to His Father, “. . . not my will, but Thine be done,” the night before He was crucified. Apart from humility, there can be no true abiding in fellowship with Jesus or with one another in the family of God. Please open your Bible to First Peter chapter five, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola concludes his discussion of verses five through seven.
