Hope may seem insignificant until you realize that without hope there is hopelessness. As we face daunting challenges in many aspects of our public and private lives, it is the absence of hope that breeds despair and taints our relationship with others and with God. Please open your Bible to the first chapter of John’s Gospel, and, after the reading of today’s passage, Pastor Ben Hiwale will begin the third message in the Advent series entitled Jesus Christ: Our Blessed Hope.
