The rituals of the Old Testament Law concerning leprosy could only determine if a person was clean or unclean. They had no power to cleanse a leper. The same is true for sin. The Law can only declare us guilty or innocent; the works of the Law cannot save. However, just as Jesus could cleanse a leper, He can also cleanse a sinner, if one places their faith in Him.
