Peter was humbled by Jesus’ display of authority over the fish of the sea. He felt unworthy to even be in Jesus’ presence. Nevertheless, Jesus wanted Peter to follow Him. Jesus does not expect His disciples to be perfect; we never will be this side of heaven. However, He does expect total allegiance from His disciples: He must be Lord of all, regardless of our vocations. Please open your Bible to Mark chapter one, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola completes his study of verses sixteen through twenty.
