The cross is the lynchpin of our salvation, but false teachers have undermined its true meaning. For example, the cross of old slew men; today it entertains them. The old cross destroyed confidence in the flesh, but the new cross encourages it. The message of the old cross pierced hearts, whereas the message of today’s cross tickles ears. Please open your Bible to Galatians chapter six, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola completes his study of verses eleven through eighteen as he encourages us to return to the old rugged cross.
