Santification is an on-going process. When God’s grace brings a person to salvation or justification, they will start living differently. Things that once gave them pleasure will lose their appeal, though they will occasionally find themselves slipping back into their old sinful ways. However, by His grace, sin no longer reigns in the body of a Christian, and, as we mature as believers, our behavior will become more Christ-like.
