David was a man of tender conscience. He asked God to deal with his own sin and weakness before addressing the wicked men who fought against him. It shows that David was more concerned about evil inside himself than he was about evil from others. Jesus described such an attitude as removing the beam from one’s own eye, before addressing the mote in someone else’s eye. Please open your Bible to Psalm one hundred forty-one, and follow along as Pastor Ray Viola discusses this chapter.
