Satan does not give up easily. After destroying Job’s wealth and killing all his children, he returned to God’s throne to accuse him again. This time he sought God’s permission to destroy his health in order to tempt him to curse God. God allowed him to touch his body, but Satan was not allowed to take Job’s life. This shows that our Enemy will relentlessly try to disrupt our lives, tempt us, and wear us down physically and spiritually, but God mercifully restricts his attacks.
