As we near the end of our study of The Sermon on the Mount, we will see Jesus driving home the necessity of putting into practice what He was teaching in order to get to heaven. Specifically, we cannot just agree with what Jesus said and leave it there; we have a responsibility to apply what He taught to our lives.
