Near the end of Joshua’s life, he prepared to pass the baton of leadership to another. In what may have been his final national address, He reminded the Israelites of God’s faithfulness and warned them about compromise, indifference, concessions, and tolerance. But of utmost concern to this aged leader was that he wanted the Israelites to love the LORD their God, which Jesus identified as the greatest commandment. Please open your Bible to Joshua twenty-three, and listen as Pastor Ben Hiwale begins his study of this chapter.
