The final Beatitudes concern suffering for righteousness and the cause of Christ. When we face persecution as Christians, we should not resent or retaliate against our persecutors. Instead, we should rejoice in the fact that we are God’s children and that we have a reward in heaven. Please open your Bible to Matthew chapter five, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola begins his discussion of verses ten through twelve.
