After seven days of silent suffering, Job spoke, not to curse God, but to curse the day of his birth. When we are hurting, it is easy to say and do things that we might later regret. If Job knew what God was going to say and do later on, do you think he would have spoken the way he did? Christians should remember that we are not of this world, and that we have an eternal inheritance in the Lord’s presence. Please open your Bible to Job chapter three, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola begins his discussion of Job’s first lament and Eliphaz’s response.
