The wicked, especially those that are prosperous, want nothing to do with the Lord; in fact, they say to Him, “Get away from us! Leave us alone!” This is the philosophy of most unsaved people today. One might call it “practical atheism”. Sadly, they do not believe that a miserable, godless eternity awaits them.
