Today we will meet the second of Job’s pseudo-comforters. His name is Bildad, which means son of contention. He was a man that loved controversy. He not only falsely accused Job of sinning, he, with a total lack of sensitivity, declared that Job’s dead sons died because of their transgressions! Please open your Bible to Job chapter eight, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola begins a discussion of a verbal exchange between Bildad and Job.
