When Peter wrote his second epistle, he knew that his death was near. This gave him added impetus to care for the spiritual needs of God’s people with his remaining time. He described his imminent death as laying aside his earthly tent. Since we do not know when Jesus will return, we should be sure that we do not invest too much in things that will pass away. Rather, lay up treasure in heaven, which is eternal. Please listen as Pastor Ray Viola continues his study of verses twleve through twenty-one of Second Peter chapter one.
