The Beatitudes confront us with two questions. First, is our faith real? Secondly: is our faith healthy? Today’s study begins to look at the fifth Beatitude: Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. This means that genuine and healthy Christians will seek to give help to the wretched and to relieve the misery of others. Please open your Bible to Matthew chapter five, verse seven, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola begins his study.
