Today’s passage discusses a battle that can teach us about spiritual warfare. Previously, Joshua had conquered the land city by city, but now he had to face five kings at once. Knowing that he could not engage in this battle in his own strength, he had no other recourse than to go to battle trusting in the promise and power of God. Though God had decided on the outcome in Israel’s favor, Israel still had do some hard fighting. Please open your Bible to Joshua chapter ten, verse eight, and listen as Partor Ray Viola continues his study.
