After cautioning people about improper motives, Jesus then began to teach about prayer. Sadly, some people (exemplified by the Pharisees in Scripture) pray to impress others. However, Jesus wanted His followers to know, that when they pray with a proper motive, they are speaking directly to His Holy Father in Heaven. Moreover, through the blood of Jesus, He is also your Heavenly Father. Please open your Bible to Matthew chapter six, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola begins his discussion of verses seven through nine.
