As Christians, we should do what we do for an audience of One, namely Jesus Christ. If we get no recognition for our service, we have no cause to complain, because we should have been doing it for Him and no one else. However, if we find ourselves complaining about lack of recognition, then we should either quit complaining or stop doing whatever it is, because our motivation has been wrong.
