Psalm 138:8  The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Ephesians 2:10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Philippians 1:6  Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

The enemy is telling some of you this morning that Jesus is done with you. You have gone too far. You have repeated and repented of that sin one last time. Satan desires to sift you like wheat. He wants you to throw in the towel. Stop praying. Stop reading your bible. He tells you how horrible and fleshly you are. (If he only knew the half of it!). Weary, struggling, defeated Saint, listen to what God says about you.

He will perfect His work in and through your life. God does not waste our failures in the process of sanctification. You are His workmanship, His beautiful poem. God with sovereign precision is writing your life’s story. You are His poetry in motion. Because Jesus declared that it is finished (John 19:30), you can be sure that once He began that good work in you, He will be faithful to complete that work. Yes, there will be valleys. Yes, there will be setbacks. But none of those things are of any surprise to God. Do not allow the fiery darts of condemnation or discouragement eclipse the finished work of Christ for you, nor the present work of God’s Spirit in you and through you. God is not through with you! You are complete in Christ. Glory to God!
