In Solomon’s Temple, priests placed the ark beneath and between the wings of two golden cherubs within the Most Holy Place. On top of the ark was the mercy seat. It was at the mercy seat that God said that He would commune with man. We should be glad that God does not meet us on the basis of us keeping the Law perfectly, but at a place of mercy. Otherwise, none of us would have a prayer or a chance. Please open your Bible to Second Chronicles chapter five, verse nine, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola concludes his study of this chapter.
