Deuteronomy 11:18-21  Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thouliest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates: That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

Matthew 6:10  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

“Thy will done on earth as it is in heaven.” As we walk in the word of God, which is the will of God, we experience this wonderful fellowship with God that is heavenly. God told the Israelites that when they filled their lives with the word of God, talking about it day and night, it would be like the days of heaven upon the earth.

How wonderful it is to know that I can experience heaven on earth as I walk in the will and ways of The Lord. Beloved, is it not a precious promise that Our Lord reveals to us here? A promise of His presence. A promise of His peace and comfort, in the midst of the grind of our earthly responsibilities and challenges. Give us this day, Lord Jesus, our daily bread. To be filled with God’s Word is another way of telling us to stay in close fellowship with Jesus, Who is The Word made flesh. Thus, as we “incarnate” His truth in our lives, we experience a slice of heaven on earth. To be heavenly-minded is life and peace. I pray that each of you will have a heavenly day.
